Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  • Rub each chicken breast with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • If baking, place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If grilling, cook each side for 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature is reached.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Optionally, squeeze fresh lemon juice on top and garnish with fresh herbs for added flavor.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • You can also add vegetables or serve with a salad to make the meal more filling.
  • If you prefer a different seasoning, feel free to experiment with herbs like thyme or rosemary.
