Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the chopped parsley, garlic, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, and chili flakes.
  • Slowly whisk in the olive oil until the mixture is well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Let the sauce rest for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve with grilled meats, vegetables, or as a marinade.

Notes

  • For a milder version, reduce the amount of chili flakes.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, use less olive oil.
  • Chimichurri can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
