- 100g unsalted butter
- 100g brown sugar
- 100g golden syrup (or light treacle)
- 100g dark chocolate (or milk chocolate, depending on preference)
- A pinch of salt (optional)
Melt the Butter and Syrup: In a saucepan, melt the butter, golden syrup, and sugar over low heat. Stir occasionally until fully melted and combined.
Combine with Oats: Remove the pan from the heat and add the rolled oats to the melted mixture. Stir thoroughly until the oats are evenly coated.
Prepare the Baking Tray: Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Pour the oat mixture into the tray and press it down firmly to ensure an even layer.
