  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups old-fashioned oats
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven and line baking sheet.
  • Mix butter, peanut butter, and sugars.
  • Add egg and vanilla, beat well.
  • In another bowl, combine dry ingredients.
  • Combine both mixtures and fold in add-ins.
  • Scoop dough onto tray, flatten gently.
  • Chill for 20 minutes if time allows.
  • Bake for 10–12 mins, then cool.
